JJ had a bad break in her wing from a gunshot wound. Yes it is illegal to shoot a trumpeter swan.They are protected. ( Another topic.) It must have been done in Cookes Bay area as she could not fly. And hunting is prominent there. If only we could catch them. People like that give all the good guys a bad name. This is not nice to look at. But also is what makes an impact on people to see the damage done to an innocent beautiful trumpeter swan. Who did no harm to anyone.
